How to Get Rid of Blackheads

Hi beauties,

Happy Easter Weekend!

I think (almost) everyone has some form of blackheads (or whiteheads) on your nose, forehead, chin etc.. Those pesky black dots that you can’t see from afar but know it’s there to bother you...

I’ve compiled a list of tried and tested ways to help with clearing blackheads! What generally works as well if you can steam your face or use a warm cloth to open up those pores.

1) Pore strips - I think this is the oldest most effective way. But doesn’t it kind of hurt when you try to rip it off? I normally buy the ordinary biore one and they’ve worked just fine. Just make sure to moisturize your nose after!

2) Clay masks - I like the idea of using a clay mask cause it hardens and can help remove blackheads. But I feel like when you’re washing it off, you’d still need to use some sort of remover to kind of fully clean the blackheads away. Still a good way though!

3) Comedone spoon - I like calling this the scooper cause it essentially will scoop out the blackhead. But I feel like this leaves the skin a bit red-dish after but it’s effective that it completely removes it from the root.

4) Chemical exfoliants - Finding skin care products with exfoliants such as salicylic acid or retinol could help to decrease the amount of blackheads you get

I hope this helped! If you have any other ways to share or past experiences, write us at hello@soufflebeauty.com We’d love to hear from you.

XOXO
